Cycle of conversations “Plan D”
In the first session of the cycle “PLAN D: what to do after the PhD?”, we will talk with Susana Araújo, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Coimbra.
Susana Araújo holds a PhD in Anglo-American Literature from the University of Sussex and has won three highly competitive calls for research contracts (Science 2007 Program, IF 2013 and CEEC 2019). Until her appointment at FLUC, she was a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Comparative Studies at the University of Lisbon. Her first book was published by Bloomsbury in 2015 and she has several articles in journals such as Atlantic Studies, Symbiosis and Women’s Studies.
This session, “D for Next Day,” will focus on competitions for scientific employment and access to a teaching career. What does it take to successfully apply for these positions and what strategies can we adopt?
Orgs. João Paulo Guimarães e Marinela Freitas
The broadcast will be through ILC’s Youtube channel and access is free.
