Sofia Mota Freitas is a PhD student in Literary, Cultural and Interartistic Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto with a grant from the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). She is also a researcher at the Institute of Comparative Literature Margarida Losa (Porto) and a member of the editorial team of the electronic magazine SKHEMA – Interarts Magazine. She graduated in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies and concluded, in 2016, a master’s degree in Literary, Cultural and Interartistic Studies at the same institution, with the dissertation O Imaginário e a Representação da Dança em Mário de Sá-Carneiro. Her areas of interest are Portuguese Literature, Interartistic Studies and Dance Studies, and she is currently developing research in these areas in her PhD thesis.
