The “Of the many lives of a book” Translation Sessions will take place on October 12th at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto.

Livia Apa (Naples Univ.) will be in charge of the opening conference. Scheduled for 11:00 am in room 310, the session is entitled Climbing Jacob’s stairs: translating Ana Luísa Amaral.

Margarida Vale de Gato (Lisbon Univ.) will be in Meeting Room 2 at 2:45 pm for the presentation The Unclaimed Remains, lyrical translation manual.

The third and final conference of the day is scheduled for 4:30 pm in Meeting Room 2: Tradições // Traduções, by Regina Guimarães (writer).
