On October 9th, 2023, at 5 pm, the exhibition ANA LUÍSA AMARAL: BÚSSOLA PARA UM MUNDO DE TODOS will open, as part of the Commemorations of the EMINENT FIGURE 2023-2024, in the Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto.

The documentary exhibition, which can be visited until September 2024, is a tribute to Ana Luísa Amaral, in her various facets – poet, translator, essayist, researcher, teacher and cultural disseminator. Distinguished nationally and internationally for her literary work, recognised for the scientific excellence of her research, and praised for the independence of her thought, Ana Luísa Amaral has always sought the exact word to say about herself, the world and others, or as she said, a word that “would serve as a map. Or a compass for a world of all.”
