The Institute for Comparative Literature informs that FCT has published the call for applications for the next Individual Scientific Employment Stimulus Competition (CEEC Individual).

The application period for the 8th edition of the Individual Scientific Employment Stimulus will run from 15 December 2025 until 17:00 Lisbon time on 29 January 2026.

The CEEC Individual is an annual call that directly supports the hiring of doctoral researchers, in all scientific areas, who intend to carry out their scientific research or technological development activities in Portugal, in the institutions that make up the National Science and Technology System (SNCT).

The Institute for Comparative Literature will admit applications that demonstrate that are in line in with the ILC’s scientific strategy. The application process should include:

• Curriculum vitae, including CIÊNCIA ID identifier;
• Research plan, written in English, with the following items:
  – Title
  – Framework/State of the art
  – Research plan and methods
  – Expected results
  – Ethical issues
  – United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – Agenda 2030

Applications must be sent to ilc@letras.up.pt by 17:00 (Lisbon time) on 16 January 2026.
