Alexandre Marinho

Alexandre Ferreira Marinho has been a French lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto where he teaches courses in French Language, French Didactics, and the Production of Didactic Materials in French. He holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (2008) and completed a Master’s in Literary, Cultural, and Interarts Studies in 2011, with a dissertation entitled Barthes. Text. Japan. In 2022, he obtained a Master’s in Teaching Portuguese and a Foreign Language with the dissertation Did They Do Their Homework? The Flipped Classroom in the Teaching of Portuguese and French. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Margarida Losa Institute for Comparative Literature (ILC), where he is developing a doctoral thesis on the work of the French writer Christian Bobin, under the supervision of Professor José Domingues de Almeida. Between 2012 and 2019, he collaborated with the Transdisciplinary Research Center for Culture, Space, and Memory (CITCEM), focusing on literary theory, with a particular emphasis on the work of Roland Barthes
