António Pedro Marques was born in Entroncamento, Portugal, in 1991. He was awarded a PhD Grant by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia to pursue his studies at the Doctoral Programme in Literary, Cultural and Interart Studies (Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto). He is developing a thesis around the concept of the «enemy» in Herberto Helder and Sean Bonney, supervised by Pedro Eiras (FLUP/ILCML) and Rui Carvalho Homem (FLUP/CETAPS). He graduated in Political Science and International Affairs in 2012 (Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa – NOVA FCSH).
