In Brazil, Fabio Mario da Silva teaches Literature at degree and postgraduate levels at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco and on the Masters programme in Letters at the Federal University of South and Southeast Pará. He concluded a FAPESP-funded postdoctoral project in Portuguese Literature (2016) at the University of São Paulo, and another postdoctoral project in Portuguese Studies (2020) at the University of Lisbon. And is now a researcher at the Federal University of Sergipe’s International Multidisciplinary Centre for Epic Studies (CIMEEP). He also has significant European research connections: he is a researcher at the Centre for Classical Studies (CEC) at the University of Lisbon and is an associate member of CRIMIC, the Université Paris-Sorbonne’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Research of the Contemporary Iberian World.
