On the 10th of May at 6:30 pm (Porto), João Paulo Guimarães (ILCML), Bruno Ministro (ILCML), Inês Cardoso (ILCML) and Elina Siltanen (University of Turku, Finland) will have a chat with Robert Fitterman.
Robert Fitterman is an American conceptual poet who composes his works by appropriating and reconfiguring texts, usually of a markedly subjective and emotional nature, which he finds in comment boxes on applications such as Facebook, eBay and Yelp. In addition to the books we will discuss, he has also published Rob’s Word Shop (Ugly Duckling Press, 2019), Nevermind (2016), now we are friends (2010), Rob the Plagiarist (2009) and Metropolis (2009, 2004, 2002).
