Maria Luísa Taborda Santiago, graduated in Language and Literature from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), master and PhD student in Literary, Cultural and Interartistic Studies at the University of Porto (Portugal). She integrates a Luso-Brazilian research project that intends to publish the literary works of the 19th-century Portuguese writer Ana Plácido, which is her study object in the PhD thesis. Working on Brazilian and Portuguese literature, she is particularly interested in women’s writing, gender, poetics and politics of the body.
