Maria Leonor Figueiredo

Maria Leonor Figueiredo is a PhD candidate in Literary, Cultural and Interart Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (FLUP) with the investigation “Beyong Clique Struggle: art in the age of identitarian authenticity”. She holds a BA in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies (2012, FLUP), and two MA in Literary, Cultural and Interartistic Studies (2014, FLUP) and Contemporary Artistic Practices (2017, FBAUP). Her research is interdisciplinary, bringing together literary and art studies, critical studies, cultural sociology, and the study of contemporary political and aesthetic debates. She is the author of Calma é Apenas um Pouco Tarde: Resistance in Contemporary Portuguese Poetry (2015, Deriva Editores).
